Background

Today’s company dates back to 1995, but the foundations were laid back in the late 70s when what later became Interfact AB was founded. The name Interfact was an abbreviation for ”Internationell Faktasökning” (International Fact Finding ) and the name remained until 1992 when the business, which had been owned by the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet AB since 1981, was sold to Fritzes, a subsidiary to publishing house Liber. Interfact then took the new name SVP Nordic and became a division of Fritzes AB.

On 1st January 1995, SVP Nordic once again became a limited company when Anne Styren and Solveig Forss bought out the business from Fritzes. Anne Styren has been the sole owner of the company since 2001 and during that same year the company changed its name to Profile Intelligence AB .

Our simple and ingenious business idea has survived throughout changes in both ownership and company form: we seek out and verify the facts our clients need to be able to see the whole picture and thus make informed and strategically sound decisions.
